[cz_title id=”cz_92786″ cz_title=””]We were honored to be able to help Wish for Our Heroes, and Utah Jazz Point Guard, George Hill, raise over $23,000 at the recent G3 Holiday Bash. Wish for Our Heroes is a national charity that focuses on assisting military families who are struggling with basic needs like food, shelter, transportation, childcare, medical bills, and more. 100% off proceeds raised went to assist Utah military families during the holiday season. Les Olson Company supporting 2019 Utah Food Bank donation.

Throughout the year, the Utah Food Bank receives donations from hundreds of food and fund drives hosted by various organizations, and by individuals who want to give back to the community. Because of the generosity of these businesses and individuals, the Utah Food Bank is able purchase food to distribute to pantries throughout Utah and even Mobile Pantry Trucks, which bring lots of fresh food to areas under served by traditional food pantries.

2017 Mobile Pantry Panel at Hunger Heroes

We were able to participate in a great panel discussion as part of Utah Food Bank’s Hunger Heroes event. The discussion was about their Mobile Pantry School program, which our employees volunteer at monthly. Other participants were representatives from C.R. England, Granite Education Foundation, and Columbia Elementary School.
